WE ARE Organizationally, Audit & Management
Advisory Services reports to the Vice Chancellor, Resource
Management & Planning, who Chairs the Campus Audit Committee, and
to the University Auditor at the Office of the
President.
WHAT WE DO
AMAS provides a broad variety of
services to both the campus community and the UCSD Healthcare
Enterprise. We provide these services in accordance with our
responsibilities as defined in campus policy (PPM
10-11), and the audit Charter approved by the Chancellor. We also perform our
audits in accordance with standards for the professional practice of
internal auditing promulgated by the Institute
of Internal Auditors.
Those standards have recently been
revised to expand the role of auditors in providing consulting
services. In light of this revision and the variety of services
requested by you, our clients, we have recently changed our name from
Internal Audit Services to Audit & Management Advisory Services. |
